Last updated: 4 October 2026
Pathways Finance Ltd. (“Pathways”, “we”, “us”) of Suite #3, Woods Mall, St. John’s, Antigua and Barbuda, is the data controller for the personal information described in this notice. We handle personal information in accordance with the Data Protection Act of Antigua and Barbuda.
1. Information we collect
- Through this website: the name and WhatsApp number or email address you give in the first step of the eligibility check, together with your agreement that we may contact you about your enquiry, which are saved when you complete that step; and, if you finish the check, the answers you give (the vehicle’s make, year, mileage and price, your deposit, loan amount and term, how you are paid, where you work (your employer or business name) and how long you have been in your job, your net monthly income and existing loan payments, and whether you have a guarantor, can provide proof of income, and whether you live in Antigua and Barbuda and on which island) and the indicative result.
- When you apply for a loan: identity documents (driver’s licence, passport), proof of address, proof of income such as pay slips and bank statements, employment details, references, details of your existing debts and expenses, and details of the vehicle to be financed and its insurance.
- During the loan: your payment history and any correspondence with us.
2. How we use it
- To assess whether we can lend to you and on what terms.
- To verify your identity and the information you give us, including by contacting your employer, referees, and the insurer of the vehicle.
- To prepare, register and enforce the loan documents, including the Bill of Sale over the vehicle.
- To administer your loan, collect payments and communicate with you about your account.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including anti-money-laundering requirements.
3. Who we share it with
We share personal information only where necessary: with our attorneys for the preparation and registration of security documents; with the Antigua & Barbuda Transport Board and the Registry to record our interest in the vehicle; with the vehicle’s insurer to be noted as loss payee; with our bankers to process payments; with Meta Platforms, through the Meta Pixel on this website (see section 6); and with regulators or law enforcement where required by law. We do not sell personal information.
4. How we keep it
Application records are kept for the life of the loan and for a further period required by law and by our record-keeping obligations, after which they are securely destroyed. Eligibility-check enquiries that do not proceed to an application are deleted within twelve months. Documents you send us by WhatsApp or email are transferred to our secure files and removed from the messaging service.
5. Your rights
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete information we no longer need. To do so, write to surge@pathways-finance.com or call (268) 464-4886. We will respond within a reasonable time.
6. Website data
This website uses Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies, to measure visits to our pages and clicks on buttons such as WhatsApp, phone and email links. We do not send your name, phone number, email address or eligibility-check answers to Google Analytics; it only records that the check was started or completed and the type of result shown. Your contact details are delivered to us through our website provider when you complete the first step of the eligibility check, and your answers and result when you finish it; if you choose to send your result by WhatsApp or email, the details also reach us through WhatsApp or your email application.
This website also uses the Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms, which sets cookies to measure visits to our pages and how well our Facebook and Instagram adverts work, and to show you relevant adverts. The Meta Pixel uses automatic advanced matching: contact details you type into forms on this website, such as your email address, phone number, name and location details, may be hashed (scrambled) in your browser and sent to Meta so that Meta can match visits to Meta accounts. Meta’s own privacy policy applies to how Meta processes this information, and you can manage your ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings.
