The Person Behind Pathways
Surge George
Managing Director
Surge George is a senior credit professional with over 20 years of experience in personal and commercial lending across the Caribbean. He has operated at the executive management level with direct responsibility for lending portfolios and delegated authority to make consequential credit decisions.
Throughout his career, he has worked extensively in corporate credit, managing complex lending relationships and overseeing large portfolios across a range of industries. His experience includes credit assessment, loan structuring, and ongoing management of borrower relationships and portfolio performance.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill (2002), and a Master of Business Administration in Banking and Finance from the Mona School of Business, UWI Mona (2005).
Surge established Pathways Finance to offer a more responsive and practical approach to lending—one that maintains strong credit discipline while allowing for greater flexibility in how loans are structured.
